Meatball Curry (Meatball in Tomato Sauce) By Sherly at 2008-04-23 11:39:45

For meatball: 1 lb. Minced Meat ½ tsp. Salt ½ tsp. Cayenne pepper ¼ tsp. Black Pepper 1 Egg ½ bunch Coriander leaves(Cilantro) chopped 1 Onion chopped 1 tsp. Chopped green pepper 1 tsp. Ginger – Garlic paste
For Curry: 1 tbls. Oil. ½ Onion chopped ½ tsp Salt and Pepper ½ tsp. Cumin powder 1 tsp. Coriander powder 1 tsp. Garam Masala 1 Tomato chopped or 1 Cup tomato puree Coriander leaves(Cilantro) for garnish
Method: Mix all the ingredient for Ball and make 2” balls. Put it in a baking tray 1” apart. Keep it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. Bake it on 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until done. Remove from oven and keep aside.
To make curry (Sauce), add oil in a pan. Sauté chopped onion until soft. Add salt, pepper, cumin powder and coriander powder. Let it cook until oil separates. Add chopped Tomato or tomato puree and let it cook. Add meatballs in it and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. If needed add little water in it.
Garnish with Corander leaves (Cilantro). Serve hot with Roti, Paratha or Naan.
